Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare

Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare is a not-for-profit, health care system, centered in the Cedar Valley, with many locations in Northeast Iowa.

Needs

Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare needed a new website to address the growing demands of their organization. Along with updating the overall design, the main needs were to make "Find a Doctor" more functional, improve the abiltity to find locations, integrate sub sites that were maintained separately and allow more "Updating Flexibility".

Process

Spinutech worked with Wheaton to totally rework the outline of their main website. The hospitals became tabs along the top to increase visibility. "Find a Doctor" was reworked to search by the first letter of their last name and by specialty. Each sub site was outlined separetly and integrated under "Programs and Services".

Results

Today Wheaton Franiciscan Healthcare has a website that looks good and allows their marketing department to update the website at any time through Spinternet. Maintence has been dramatically reduced accross the board by integrating the sub sites into the main website. Through Spinternet, Wheaton can add/delete pages and re-order the menus of each section, allowing them to do more than they ever have.
