What is a “company value?"
It depends on the company, if we’re being honest. To some, company values are a lot like New Year’s resolutions. You make them, you tell yourself you’re going to follow through on them, and before long you have to be reminded what they are because you’ve forgotten all about them.
At Spinutech, our values are everything. Everything we do should be a reflection of our values.
Spinutech’s Values Define the Company Culture
Company values are not something that should have to be taught. If you’re hiring the right people, your team should already be chock full of people who represent those values. Not only are company values your guiding principles, they should be a checklist you reference when deciding whether someone is the right fit for your team.
So what exactly are our values at Spinutech?
We Get Better Every Day
Spinutech does not believe in ceilings. Well, our offices have literal ceilings, but we don’t believe in the figurative kind, especially when it comes to our team members. When we hire a new team member, we are hiring the person they are now and the person they have the potential to be in the future. We want them to continue to grow, for themselves, their teammates, and our clients.
We Do the Right Thing
Simple enough, right? Simple maybe, but not always easy. Doing the right thing means valuing our integrity and making sure we approach every task the same effort and attention to detail. At Spinutech, what you see is what you get, and we want people to see that we are an organization that practices humility and accountability in everything we do.
We Over Me
There are no employees at Spinutech. Just members of a team. Like any team, we celebrate our wins together and we come together to regroup after losses. Being able to work well with others is a prerequisite to work at Spinutech. We have a no-admittance policy regarding egos.
We Own It
You’ve probably worked at a company where you felt like someone was always looking over your shoulder. Spinutech is not that company. We hire people we can trust to manage their own desks, and that includes knowing when to close up shop at the end of the day. The last thing we want is people working more than 40 hours a week. A healthy work/life balance is too important.
