ORNL FCU Site Nominated for Sitefinity Website of the Year Award

We are excited to announce that the ORNL Federal Credit Union (ORNL FCU) website has been nominated for a Sitefinity Website of the Year Award in the Personalization category!
ORNL FCU is a not-for-profit, member-owned financial cooperative that serves 19 counties in East Tennessee, making them the fourth largest credit union in the state and one of the top 200 credit unions in the United States. They partnered with Spinutech (formerly Bayshore Solutions) to redesign their website, which they felt no longer adequately promoted their services.
After performing a website roadmap planning session to develop a blueprint for the new website, Spinutech recommended ORNL FCU continue using Sitefinity as their CMS, albeit with a site upgrade to utilize the platform’s full capabilities. The new website launched in May 2021.
“Our goal was to develop a site that streamlined the user experience and provided ORNL FCU with a more effective tool for its members,” says Kyra King, Senior Project Manager at Spinutech. She guided the website development from start to finish, working with the team to ensure the vision outlined in their roadmapping session came to fruition.
Being a finalist for a Sitefinity Website of the Year Award is a validation of the team’s efforts.
The awards are presented annually to Sitefinity websites that have been launched or significantly overhauled in the past year and are running on a recent version of the platform. Websites submitted for consideration are evaluated across six criteria: visual design, content, layout and navigation, complexity, innovation, and significance.
Once three finalists are announced for each category, voting is opened to the public. You can vote for Spinutech and ORNL FCU here until voting closes on April 20.
The winners will be announced on May 26.
